　　今天，我们相聚在风光秀丽的开化国家公园，共同迎来了第四届世界地掷球锦标赛的隆重开幕。在此，我谨代表250多万热情好客的衢州人民，向来自世界各国的运动员、教练员、裁判员和朋友们表示热烈的欢迎！

　　Today we meet in the beautiful Eastern National Park·Kaihua to greet the opening of the 4th World Raffa Championship. On behalf of 250 million hospitable Quzhou people, I would like to express the most sincere welcome to the athletes, coaches, umpires and friends from all over the world!

　　地掷球是一项古老而又年轻的新兴体育运动，也是一项竞技与娱乐、脑力与体力相结合的高雅体育运动。此次世界地掷球锦标赛，不仅是体育竞技的舞台，更是加强交流、增进友谊、畅想未来的舞台，必将大大推动地掷球运动的蓬勃开展，让更多的人了解、喜爱并参与到这项运动中来。

　　The bocce is an ancient and modern rising sport, as well as an elegant sport of the combination of entertainment and competitive, mental activity and physical exercise. The World Raffa Championship is not only a stage of sports competition, but also a stage to strengthen the communication, improve the friendship and image the future. It will accelerate the popularization of Bocce，making more people to learn, love and participate in the sport.

　　衢州是一座古老而又年轻的城市，衢州人民对地掷球运动情有独钟。我们相信，在国际塑质球联合会和国家体育总局的指导帮助下，在大家的共同努力下，一定会奉献出一场热烈、友好、难忘的体育盛会，办出新的精彩，留下新的记忆。

　　Quzhou is an ancient and modern city, and the Quzhou people focus on Bocce with special passion. We believe that we will have a great, friendly and unforgettable event with the guide of CBI and General Administration of Sports of China and the help of all of you. It will leave us a new memory.

　　我们真诚期待所有参赛选手都能有精彩的表现，赛出风格，赛出水平，赛出友谊。

　　We do hope all the athletes will have a wonderful performance，demonstrating style, friendship and skills.

　　我们也诚挚希望，世界各地的朋友们能通过这次盛会，更多地领略衢州这座历史文化名城的秀丽山水、风土人情和文化魅力，共同度过这段难忘的美好时光！

　　Also, we sincerely hope all the friends from all over the world can taste the beautiful scenery, local customs and cultural charm of the historical cultural city-Quzhou through this championship. Wish you have an unforgettable happy time!
